WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
Living on an island has always provided me with opportunity to observe little bits of nature that I would not have seen otherwise. Capturing a moment in time brings me as much satisfaction as any other individual who enjoys collecting stuff. You might think of me, or any photographer, as a collector of moments. The magnificent setting that Aruba provided me at the start of my passion in photography was precisely what I needed. I began my adventures with the little point and shoot camera I purchased with the few funds I had as a student. It was a way to get away and enjoy a moment of ecstasy and beauty.
I photograph lovely moments, whether they are smiling people or geometric landscapes. I can honestly say I've gone a long way since those days in the heat. My love and passion for photography has evolved into more than just an escape; I view it as a chance to connect with people and learn more about my surroundings.
